GZA's Daniel Boudreau Named Co-Chair of the Geographic Information System Certification Institute

NORWOOD, Mass., February 25, 2019 -- GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA), a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services, is proud to announce that Daniel Boudreau, Geospatial Systems Lead, has been named Co-Chair of the Geographic Information System Certification Institute (GISCI).

The Institute is the certification arm of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) International, the governing body for geographic information system (GIS) professionals internationally. It also provides standards and guidance for the GIS community.  

Boudreau will hold this position for a period of two years and will then assume the Chair role for an additional two years.

Boudreau is a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional and has over thirty years of combined experience in the application and integration of geospatial and CAD technology in the areas of civil engineering, planning, urban design, environmental science, transportation planning, water resources and geotechnical engineering. Boudreau holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Cartography from Salem State University, where he is also a member of its GIS Advisory Board.
