Russ Morgan has been with GZA for over 25 years and is a Principal and Senior Vice President.  He presently manages the Providence district office and provides senior management of Geotechnical and Marine projects. He has also been named to serve on the company’s 2015-2017 Board of Directors and as such, will participate in the leadership and direction of the Company.   

His areas of specialization are geotechnical engineering, marine and waterfront engineering and coastal engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Ocean Engineering and his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.  He is a professional engineer licensed in CT, MA and RI. 

His professional activities include membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers and on the URI Civil Engineering Department Advisory Council. He also serves as a Structural Specialist on the Rhode Island Emergency Management Urban Search and Rescue Team and is a lecturer for the URI Civil and Ocean Engineering Departments.
