GLASTONBURY, CT…ISSUED OCTOBER 19, 2016… GZA, a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Richard J. Desrosiers has been promoted to Associate Principal in the Glastonbury, Connecticut office.
A resident of Clinton, Connecticut, Desrosiers joined GZA in 2006 where his area of specialization is hydrogeology and geology used to remediate soil and groundwater contamination.
Desrosiers earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Northeastern University.
A Licensed Professional Geologist in New Hampshire and Tennessee, Desrosiers is a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) in Connecticut. He is a member of the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council (ITRC) and has presented at numerous conferences, including leading an October 2015 New England Intercollegiate Geologic Conference field trip “Distal Glaciodeltaic Controls on Groundwater Flow and Contaminant Migration” (NEIGC 2015 Guidebook) and “High Resolution Site Characterization (HRSC) in a Complex Deltaic Setting”, Battelle Conference, July 2015.
Desrosiers is married; he and his wife Pam have three children.
