GZA recently awarded four grants (the first to be awarded from GZA’s new “Shareholder Grant Program”) to support employee volunteerism and charity work in their communities and throughout the world. We are pleased to announce the following winners:
- Steve Andrus, Project Manager in GZA’s Providence Office… for his work with Engineers for a Sustainable World – URI Chapter, an organization which seeks to provide affordable, sustainable and effective solutions to global engineering problems in developing regions (Read More about the Progress they are making in bringing clean water to rural Guatemala - and SEE THE PHOTOS).
- Paul Davis, Associate Principal in GZA’s Springfield, MA office… for his work with the American University of the Caribbean (AUC) in Les Cayes, Haiti, whose goal it is to educate Haitian students in agriculture/agroforestry and civil engineering
- Joe Foglio, Principal in GZA’s Metro Philadelphia office… for his work with A Better Chance, an organization which helps prepare minority students for college; and
- Marc Hudock, Senior Project Manager in GZA’s Northern New Jersey Office… for his work with Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) in Manila, The Philippines, which provides assistance to children with special needs.
